First Look: Marriott Debuts Branded Residences in Hungary With MAM

Marriott Residences Budapest, the first branded residences in Hungary

Marriott International, in collaboration with Market Asset Management Zrt. (MAM), is redeveloping Budapest’s iconic former Hotel Budapest, known as “Körszálló,” into Marriott Residences Budapest. This project will be Hungary’s first branded residential development, transforming the distinctive cylindrical landmark into 48 private branded residences.

The concept combines architectural heritage with modern design, advanced technical systems, and sustainable solutions, setting a new standard for ultra premium living in the capital.

The original concept for the building, crafted in the 1960s by Ybl Prize-winning Hungarian architect György Szrogh of KÖZTI Zrt., has been reimagined by the same architectural studio six decades later.

KÖZTI Zrt., alongside BWM Designers & Architects for interiors, ensures the preservation of the building’s unique character while integrating contemporary functionality.

The development will feature 146 parking spaces and a suite of resident amenities, including a fitness center, wellness area, lounge, concierge service, 24-hour security, cinema, meeting room, communal workspace, and a private bar.
