Marriott International Signs Multi-Property Agreement with Masterise Group, Accelerating Expansion in Vietnam
Marriott International, Inc. announces a landmark signed agreement with Masterise Group to open four hotels, with one branded residence, in Vietnam, adding close to 1,900 keys to the group’s nationwide portfolio and introducing Marriott’s industry-leading luxury, premium, and select hotel brands to cities across Vietnam’s key urban, economic and leisure destinations.
The flagship properties will be strategically positioned in Ho Chi Minh City. The launch of The Ritz-Carlton, Saigon and The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Saigon is poised to set a new benchmark for luxury hospitality in Vietnam, while a pioneering eco-resort complex in Can Gio, the natural retreat close to Ho Chi Minh City, will include JW Marriott and Four Points by Sheraton hotels, aligning with the district’s long-term development vision. In Hanoi, the city’s first Marriott Hotel will set the stage for authentic Vietnamese culture and large-scale events.
This multi-property agreement was officially signed by Gautam Bhandari, Chief Development Officer, Asia Pacific excluding China, Marriott International and Nelly Phuong Ta, Head of Hospitality & Entertainment, Masterise Group.
Together with the 2025 launch of Masterise Hospitality & Entertainment (MHE), this agreement marks a pivotal step in Masterise Group’s expansion into hospitality and resorts and its rise as an experiential ecosystem leader.

Co Loa Marriott Hotel is set to introduce the flagship Marriott Hotels brand to Hanoi. Currently under construction next to the National Exhibition & Convention Center, 13km from downtown, it is expected to feature 494 keys, offering an outstanding option for business travellers and meeting planners.
Guests can look forward to the brand’s signature Wonderful Hospitality as they stay in spacious and thoughtfully appointed rooms and suites (starting from 40 square meters), dine in style at four restaurants and lounges, cool off in the outdoor pool, unwind at the spa, and work out at the fitness center.
The hotel is also slated to feature 3,000 square meters of bright, fully connected function space, and a focus on authentic Vietnamese culture, ideal for immersive events that capture the spirit of Hanoi.

JW Marriott Hotel Saigon Can Gio and Four Points by Sheraton Saigon, Can Gio is planned as part of the 2,870-hectare Can Gio Coastal Urban Tourism Area, a pioneering ecotourism destination which is set to attract up to nine million annual visitors to Can Gio, a lush, natural enclave set to connect Ho Chi Minh City and Long Thanh International Airport by a new expressway and bridge.
Upon completion, this newly constructed dual-branded property will offer guests the options of the world-class JW Marriott, which is rooted in luxurious holistic well-being experiences and exceptional hospitality, while Four Points by Sheraton provides a perfect blend of modern details with genuine service.
Together, these distinct hotels are expected to showcase a total of 780 keys, including rooms, suites, family accommodation and apartment-style units, plus 1,800 square meters of combined meeting space. JW Marriott Hotel Saigon Can Gio is planned to feature five unique culinary venues, an Executive Lounge, an outdoor pool, and the brand’s signature Spa by JW, while plans for Four Points by Sheraton Saigon, Can Gio includes three casual dining options, and two outdoor recreation zones including a kids’ club and children’s pool.
