With around 850 branded residence developments now completed worldwide and a growing pipeline of more than 1,200, the sector is large enough that attention has shifted from growth alone to long-term performance and buyer expectations.
The Resort & Residential Hospitality Forum (R&R), taking place in Athens from 16 to 18 November 2026, will bring these issues into focus, with discussions examining what comes next for the sector.
The Branded Residences Discussion
Branded residences will feature in several discussions across the R&R Forum programme, reflecting the sector’s growing ties to hospitality, leisure and mixed-use development.
Developers, hotel groups, investors, consultants, and brands will share their perspectives on how the asset class is performing, what makes a project commercially successful and how the sector can keep evolving.
Topics will range from market demand and pricing premiums to investment, brand partnerships, mixed-use resort economics and the changing expectations of residential buyers.
Speakers and panellists include Louis Keighley of Savills Branded Residences, Sam Barrell of Marriott International, Daniel Von Barloewen of Accor One Living, Alexandros Moulas of LAMDA Development and Dimitris Manikis of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts EMEA, among other industry specialists.
A More Investor-Led Programme
R&R Forum 2026 puts greater emphasis on the perspectives of those investing in, owning and developing hospitality and residential assets. Investors, owners and developers account for 40% of this year’s confirmed speakers, bringing more direct insight into investment decisions, development strategies and asset performance.
Under the theme ‘Conviction in Leisure’, the programme will examine where investment opportunities are emerging, how changing consumer expectations are reshaping leisure demand, and how investors and hospitality businesses can build differentiated assets for long-term value.
Discussions over the three days will cover investment strategies, destination potential and opportunities across luxury and lifestyle hotels, resorts, branded residences, mixed-use destinations and leisure-led real estate.
