Preliminary planning has also been granted for an additional 82 residences on an adjacent plot, which will introduce enhanced five-star amenities, including an elevated pool, spa, wellness center, and gym.

Residences feature high ceilings, in-suite bathrooms, well-equipped kitchens, private balconies, and bespoke furnishings, offering a refined island living experience.

The $130M development is already over 90% sold to buyers from around the world, including international investors, local purchasers, and hoteliers. In total, the development will add 178 keys to the island’s luxury hospitality inventory and is expected to generate up to 300 permanent jobs.

Food & Beverage

Rounding out the food & beverage on property, HQ Cas En Bas Resort and Residences will feature a Katsuya Beach, Umami Burger, and a casual Italian dine concept by Michelin-starred Chef Fabio Trabocchi.

While St. Lucia is renowned for its laid-back vibe, HQ Cas En Bas enhances guests’ expectations with an innovative blend of attentive personal touch, cutting-edge technology, and ‘cosmopolitan clever’. Guests and residents can experience a mix of dancing and entertainment at the Eclectic Beach and Night Sands, unwind with a sundowner at The Rum Shack, sip on a cocktail at Cameron Jacks Lounge and Bar, or indulge in casual fare with ‘barefoot’ beach dining.

“As developer of HQ Cas En Bas, my unwavering objective has been to create a world-class, professionally managed resort that delivers the finest levels of contemporary island living,” says Edward Wellington, CEO of Wellington Estates. “Combined with the enormous global brand-power that Wyndham brings, HQ’s unparalleled services and lifestyle, which are built upon Sam’s proven track record of operational excellence and world-class dining concepts, will ensure that the resort sets a new benchmark among the island’s luxury lifestyle retreats.”

Prime Island Proximity

Situated within the award-winning Cap Estate on the northern tip of the island, guests will be placed within privileged proximity to the 18-hole championship course at St. Lucia Golf & Country Club, the picturesque Cas En Bas Bay and its 1km sandy beach, and the new uber-luxury Cabot golf estate.

Ideal for those seeking island exploration, the property is less than a 10-minute drive from Rodney Bay, the country’s most popular tourism hub, boasting a yacht-filled marina, waterfront restaurants, and ample adventurous offerings like kitesurfing, diving, and snorkeling.

“I’ve been privileged to be involved in creating some of the best hotels in the world, and the whole concept being created here at HQ Cas En Bas is really special, says Sam Nazarian. “This resort is set to become a flagship for both HQ Hotels and St Lucia, attracting a new generation of aspirational travellers to the island by delivering an unbeatable social atmosphere and unrivalled guest experiences.”

Louis Lewis, CEO of the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, adds: “We are proud to welcome HQ Hotels & Residences and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to Saint Lucia, and congratulate the HQ Cas En Bas team on this exciting news. It will raise Saint Lucia’s standing as a premier global destination, further elevate the luxury hospitality offering, help boost our ‘tourism-driven’ economy, and enhance visitor experiences.”
