Construction at Layan Verde, one of Phuket’s most ambitious mixed-use developments continues to push forward at a very strong pace since first breaking ground in April 2025, with the project firmly on schedule for its phased completion in 2027 and 2028 respectively.

Developed by VillaCarte Group, Layan Verde is situated on Phuket’s west coast, in the Bang Tao area, just two minutes from Layan Beach, a pristine seven-kilometre stretch of white sand.

Construction Update June 2026

As of June 2026, work continues to progress across multiple buildings.

The engineering works and the installation of internal partition walls continue on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors of Building A5. The 6th-floor slab has been cast in Building A2.1, while formwork and reinforcement works for the 3rd floor are underway in both A2.2 and A3.1. In Building A4, the 5th-floor slab in Zone 1 has been cast.

Foundation works continue for Buildings A1 and B8, alongside pile installation for Building B3.

Overall, the total volume of placed structural concrete now stands at 21,874 m³, with 339,060 m³ of soil excavated and 2,120 piles installed to date.

Layan Verde A New Definition of Resort Real Estate

Set within an 8-hectare landscaped park in Bang Tao, Layan Verde is a bionic architecture project spanning over 200,000 m² of built space, designed by Dewan Architects + Engineers and led by Chief Design Officer Mohammed Adib. Landscape design across more than 16,500 m² has been handled by SHMA, creating over ten distinct recreational zones woven through the development.
