Marriott International took five awards at the Global Branded Residence Awards, including the World’s Best Branded Residence title for Bulgari Residences Dubai.

The winners were announced on 2 October during an online ceremony, with Marriott recognised across resort residences, architecture, interior design, regional and global categories.

Marriott’s five awards were:

  • Best Resort Branded Residence: W Residences Dubai – The Palm
  • Best Architecture & Exterior Design: The Residences at The St. Regis Chicago
  • Best Interior Design: The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Chicago
  • Middle East & Africa: Best Branded Residence: Bulgari Residences Dubai
  • World’s Best Branded Residence: Bulgari Residences Dubai

Recognition Across Marriott’s Branded Residential Portfolio

Marriott has one of the largest and most diverse branded residences portfolios in the world, with 240+ properties across 17 brands and a presence spanning six continents. The recognition comes as Marriott continues to expand its branded residential business globally.

For buyers, Marriott Residences offer more than a private home, with the strength of an established brand, a sense of community and access to personal experiences and services that are becoming increasingly important to the ownership proposition.

The five wins highlight Marriott’s continued focus on developing residential concepts that bring these elements together across its international portfolio.

The five awards recognised four residences located in Dubai and Chicago.

The Residences at The St. Regis Chicago. This is an exceptional project that exceeds expectations in many of these categories. The design team and the engineers truly pushed on innovation and design to produce something that is above the standard for the UHNW category.

W Residences Dubai – The Palm was named Best Resort Branded Residence. Located on the Western Crescent of Palm Jumeirah, the development features 104 residences across eight mansions, with private beach access and resident amenities at Club 104, alongside access to the wider W Dubai – The Palm resort.

In Chicago, The Residences at The St. Regis Chicago won Best Architecture & Exterior Design. Designed by Studio Gang, the 101-storey tower combines 393 residences with the St. Regis hotel and includes a dedicated residential amenity floor with a sky terrace, outdoor pool, lounge and dining spaces.

Also in Chicago, The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Chicago received Best Interior Design. Located on Michigan Avenue in the Magnificent Mile, the residences combine private residential amenities with access to The Ritz-Carlton’s services and hotel facilities.

World’s Best Branded Residence – Bulgari Residences Dubai

Bulgari Residences Dubai was named both Middle East & Africa’s Best Branded Residence and World’s Best Branded Residence.

The development includes six residential buildings with 173 ultra luxury sea-facing apartments and 15 private mansions. Residents also have access to the resort’s private beach club and Bulgari Marina and Yacht Club, and whole host of exclusive residents only amenities and services.

Bulgari Resort & Residences Dubai was developed by the Dubai-based real estate developer Meraas.

This was a standout entry in the awards. The submission goes beyond describing the resident  experience and demonstrates it through tangible proof, including year-to-date performance data, resident satisfaction scores and testimonials. This level of evidence gives the judges a clear and credible picture of how the development is performing and sets a true benchmark for the industry. The product itself differs from the more overt expressions of luxury often associated with Dubai, instead inspired by coastal living in the Mediterranean. It was a very memorable submission.
