The agreement with Accor includes the development of Swissotel Ras El Hekma and Swissôtel Residences Ras El Hekma. Both properties are set to open in Q3 2027.

Swissotel Ras El Hekma Prime Beachfront Location

The properties will feature 250 hotel rooms and 100 branded residences. 

Dining And Wellness Offerings

Swissôtel Ras El Hekma and Swissotel Residences Ras El Hekma will feature international dining options, including two restaurants, a beach and pool bar, and a lounge. 

Guests can enjoy world-class cuisine along the beautiful coastline.

The properties will also include a Purovel Spa, a fitness centre, a beach club, and MICE facilities. 

These will include a 1,000 square meter ballroom and four meeting rooms, catering to various events and gatherings.

Construction Underway

The project is currently under construction with with strong confidence that both the hotel and residences will be meet the expected opening plan of of Q3/27

Egypt’s market needs more branded residences, developers say at Think Commercial

Egypt is seeing a boom in branded residences, with strong interest from both local and domestic buyers. New Cairo currently has W Residences St Regis and Ritz Carlton residences all under construction.

However, Egypt’s real estate developers recently discussed their plans to expand in the coastal projects sector. 

The incentives required from the state to keep up with the growth in coastal projects, and the serviced apartment market in Egypt and the demand for it. 

This was during the 7th Think Commercial roundtable with the theme “Rise of Diversified Real Estate Market”

Tarek Eid, a Member Board of Directors of El Riyad Castle, confirmed that Egypt received 7 million tourists in the first half of this year.

He said that it is expected that they will reach 15 million tourists by the end of this year. 

“Egypt cannot receive a larger number due to the lack of serviced rooms,Egypt aims to reach 500,000 hotel rooms within 5 years” 

He highlighted the need to pay attention to investment in branded units in govern-orates such as Luxor, Aswan, and Siwa Oasis.
