Mercedes‑Benz Places Binghatti City Dubai
Dubai witnessed what may be the most spectacular property launch event in history on January 14, 2025, as Binghatti Developers and Mercedes-Benz unveiled their second collaboration: Mercedes-Benz Places Binghatti City, the world’s first Mercedes-Benz branded city.
After the global success of their first collaboration, Binghatti and Mercedes- Benz have reunited to pursue a far greater vision, one that expands the boundaries of both luxury real estate and automotive innovation.
Their partnership now returns with the unveiling of Mercedes-Benz Places | Binghatti City, the world’s first Mercedes-Benz branded city and the developer’s first masterplanned community, a monumental AED 30 billion development spanning more than ten million square feet in Nad Al Sheba.
The grand unveiling party drew 25,000 guests, making it the largest attendance for any Binghatti event to date, and it’s likely to have been the largest ever property launch in the world.
Hosted by Hollywood actor Terry Crews, the evening delivered a cinematic experience that merged luxury automotive heritage with architectural ambition on an unprecedented scale.
Chairman Muhammad Binghatti emphasised the significance of this moment, noting that both brands have returned “not only to build upon the success of their first collaboration, but to imagine what the future of living can become when automotive ingenuity and architectural innovation converge at a city scale
A Night of Historic Reveals
Legendary Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli opened the evening with a performance that set an unforgettable tone for what followed.

The event centered around two major reveal moments. The first showcased VISION ICONIC, Mercedes-Benz’s newest concept creation inspired by the golden era of 1930s automotive design, making its exclusive Middle East debut.
The second reveal unveiled the masterplan itself, a sweeping drone show that illuminated the Meydan skyline, followed by laser projections across Nad Al Sheba tracing the outline of the twelve-tower formation.
A massive fireworks finale crowned the night, symbolising the scale and ambition of this AED 30 billion ($8.2 billion) vision.

A City Within a City
Spanning more than ten million square feet in Nad Al Sheba, Mercedes-Benz Places | Binghatti Cityrepresents Binghatti’s first ever masterplanned community or as they like to describe it “the world’s first ever branded city” and a monumental expansion of their partnership with the German automotive manufacturer.
The development will comprise twelve architecturally synchronised towers housing over 13,000 residential units.
The masterplan will be delivered in three phases, each unveiling a new layer of this city-scale vision. Across the towers, residences range from studios to 3-bedroom apartments, with Vision Iconic tower also featuring a collection of 4- and 5-bedroom homes.
All of it is anchored by the development’s defining centrepiece, the iconic spiralling signature tower bringing to life one of the region’s most ambitious residential masterplans.
At the heart of the development lies the Grand Promenade, a vast green expanse imagined as a sanctuary of sustainable and environmental consciousness.
Designed as a sequence of 12 unexpected moments and curated experiences, it features water elements, discovery zones, shaded groves, art pavilions, active circuits, and panoramic hills.

“We are targeting a larger segment of client types, and that’s why we did smaller units, medium-sized units and larger units,” Muhammad Binghatti, Chairman of Binghatti Developers, explained during the launch. “It’s for people who are looking for an asset to hold and appreciate in the future, just like a car collector would buy a car, and at the same time, we really wanted to target end users here, because that’s what the Mercedes-Benz experience is about.”
The development applies Mercedes-Benz’s “Sensual Purity” design philosophy across the entire masterplan. At its heart lies the Grand Promenade, conceived as a vast green expanse and sanctuary of environmental consciousness.
Surrounding the park, residents will also enjoy an elevated system of luxury signature amenities,12 Exclusive sporting clubs, and a network of grand indoor facilities, ensuring an unmatched lifestyle throughout the entire community.
A Partnership Built on Success
This collaboration builds on the success of Binghatti and Mercedes-Benz’s first project, a 65-story residential tower unveiled in Downtown Dubai in 2024. The new development takes that partnership to an entirely different scale, creating not just a building but an entire urban branded city.
Mathias Geisen, Member of the Board of Management, Mercedes-Benz Group AG, Sales & Customer Experience, emphasised the brand’s vision: “This masterplan represents the purest expression of the brand’s design philosophy, extending our DNA from the automobile into a living environment crafted with technical precision.”
The branded city masterplan will be delivered in three phases over three and a half years, with each phase unveiling a new layer of this city-scale vision.
The project will be funded through Binghatti’s own equity, demonstrating the developer’s confidence in both the concept and Dubai’s market fundamentals.
Dubai Breaks Records Once Again
The scale of the launch event itself reflects the ambition behind the project. With 25,000 guests, performances by Andrea Bocelli, synchronised drone shows, laser projections, and a massive fireworks display, Binghatti and Mercedes-Benz turned this branded city unveil, into the world’s largest ever real estate project launch.
Mercedes-Benz Places | Binghatti City, marks a new era, a world built beyond tomorrow, where mobility, architecture, technology and design function as one.
This second collaboration between the two global leaders stands as a monumental step forward shaping not just a landmark development, but a blueprint for how the future of branded living in Dubai will be defined.
