Grace Bay, Turks and Caicos Islands — Developer JTRE and luxury hotel operator Kempinski Hotels have marked a historic milestone with the official groundbreaking ceremony of Kempinski Grace Bay Turks & Caicos, the first Caribbean hotel and branded residential development for both companies.
The ceremony, held this week along the world-renowned shores of Grace Bay Beach, was attended by Her Excellency Anya Swann-Williams, Deputy Governor of the Turks and Caicos Islands, and The Honourable Charles Washington Misick, Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
Senior government officials and international project partners also participated in the landmark event.

Grace Bay Beach, consistently recognized as one of the world’s best beaches and a World Travel Awards’ World’s Leading Beach Destination, provides an exceptional setting for the development.
The pristine three-mile stretch has earned numerous accolades and is celebrated globally for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and powdery white sand.
Kempinski Grace Bay Turks & Caicos

The Kempinski Grace Bay project will blend European hospitality traditions with Caribbean character. The development will feature beachfront residences, private villas, refined dining venues, serene outdoor spaces, and a signature wellness experience.
White sand stretches along Providenciales’ northern shore, where Grace Bay Beach extends for 12 miles. The beach opens onto Princess Alexandra National Park, with the world’s third-longest coral reef less than half a mile offshore.
Kempinski Grace Bay sits on the quieter eastern end of the beach, away from the more developed areas. The property provides direct beach access while remaining close to the island’s restaurants, shops, and the Royal Turks and Caicos Golf Club.
Activities
The location offers scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, horseback riding, wakeboarding, and kitesurfing. Leeward Marina, minutes away, provides boat charters to the outer islands.
Amenities
The property includes multiple dining venues, a beach club restaurant, swimming pools, hot tubs, a spa, a fitness center, a boutique, a sports pavilion with padel and pickleball courts, and a kids club.
The Kempinski Branded Residences

The Branded residences range from studios to three-bedroom suites in the condominium buildings. Private villas feature six bedrooms and individual pools.
The main building, Omnia, stands seven stories tall and faces west over the pools toward Grace Bay Beach. It contains 85 units available as studios or one- to four-bedroom configurations. All units except studios include full kitchens and private bathrooms. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide natural light and ocean views from private balconies.
Vincit a south-facing five-story building offers a total of 19 beachfront and garden-view units which can be configured as studio/lockout, one, two, three, four and five bedroom living spaces with direct access to the beach.
Amor is a north-facing four-story building that offers a total of 15 beachfront and garden-view units, which can be configured as studio/lockout, one, two, three, four and five bedroom living spaces with direct access to the beach.
Ownership
Two ownership options are available: condominiums under strata title and private villas sold as land parcels with construction contracts.
The project represents a significant expansion for both partners into the Caribbean luxury hospitality market, bringing together JTRE’s expertise in mixed-use developments—with over €1.6 billion in completed projects across nine countries—and Kempinski’s 127-year heritage as Europe’s oldest luxury hotel company.
